Donate Tools for Vocational Training

we believe in empowering teenage mothers with practical skills to improve their lives and the lives of their children. To achieve this, we offer vocational training in Tailoring, Handicrafts, and Hairdressing & Beauty. However, to run these courses effectively, we need essential tools and equipment. This project aims to gather donations to ensure that every young mother enrolled in our courses has access to the materials and tools needed for their training.

We are seeking donations of essential tools for our vocational training courses in Tailoring, Handicrafts, and Hairdressing & Beauty. We need sewing machines, scissors, tape measures, tailoring chalk, needles and threads, fabrics, cutting tables, mannequins, craft scissors, glue guns, beads, embroidery kits, sewing kits, paints, brushes, wooden frames, hairdryers, combs, hair clippers, curling irons, hair care products, and manicure and pedicure kits.

Challenge

One of the primary challenges we encounter is the limited availability of tools and equipment for training, which slows down the learning process and reduces the number of students we can admit per course. Additionally, the costs of maintaining and replacing these tools strain our limited resources. We also struggle with outdated or worn-out equipment, which hinders the quality of training.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, we aim to increase community engagement and partnerships with individuals, businesses, and organizations that can support our tool donation drives. We are also exploring grants and funding opportunities to help cover maintenance and replacement costs. Furthermore, we will implement proper maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of our tools and ensure that students are trained with the best possible resources.
